Biography
Bleiswyrd Ansamhawner was born to two unknown Roegadyn parents. The circumstances of her birth, as well as the reason for her abandonment are only known to her parents.Only for about three years was Bleiswyrd in the care of her parents. During which, she found herself being able to understand a lot of what her parents could say. Despite little in the way of education. But one night, during a carriage ride through the wilds of La Noscea, she was lost.Whether abandoned on purpose, or by accident, the result was the same, a small, three year old Roegadyn, alone in the forests of La Noscea. What should've been an untimely end, ended up becoming a saving grace for Bleiswyrd. As the small child wandered the woodlands, something found her first. Looming over her, a long armed behemoth with hundreds of razor sharp teeth. A goobbue. A creature which, to most small children, would spell doom, but when Bleiswyrd babbled at it, it made noises back. Noises Bleiswyrd, for some reason, understood. The tiny fragment of The Echo hidden deep within Bleiswyrd's soul, bestowed upon her, the ability to talk to this goobbue. The Goobbue, under most circumstances, would most definitely just devour the child, as it would anything that cannot outrun it. But this time, for some reason, maybe it was lonely, or lost a sproutling, or just was bored. The Goobbue, took in Bleiswyrd, and took care of it, raising it like a parent would.Due to a lack of a language barrier, they actually could form a bond, and have some lovely, albeit simplistic conversation. Thus was spent the next 13 years of Bleiswyrd's life. Living the life of a Goobbue, eating biomatter, devouring small animals, and standing idly in the sun.Eventually though, Bleiswyrd had to get out there, had to see the world. So, at the age of 16, Bleiswyrd gave a last hug to their guardian goobbue, and headed into civilization, but not before grabbing some leaves, plant fibers and old skins, and fashioning them into clothes. A naked, musclebound Roegadyn with horns walking into a city would certainly be an odd sight to behold. For the next few years, with help from her Echo, Bleiswyrd managed to somewhat adapt to the world she now found herself in. Doing odd jobs for money, her previous life of strenuous physical activity really ended up paying off in that regard. Eventually, Bleiswyrd became a part of a small crew of "Woodsmen and Woodswomen" as they called it. This job was stable, and actually allowed her to stay in a single spot for a while. During her work, she befriended an elderly Hyur man, who recounted his tales of being an adventurer, and attributed his long life to a blue crystal which apparently granted him mystical abilities. After a few years, the Hyur man was nearing his death, and gave Bleiswyrd the blue crystal, which, unbeknownst to her, was a soul crystal, the crystal of a blue mage. Now, Bleiswyrd doesn't really know how it works, and thus has gained only two abilities from it, one from a boar, and the other from a coerl, both of which her crew had to fight off to get them away from the logging site. Now Bleiswyrd does her day to day job, and lives her best life, sometimes paying visits to her Goobbue guardian, seeking to unravel the mystery of that blue crystal. After adjusting more to society. Bleiswyrd was recruited into a free company of fellow outdoorsy folk, known as the Faerie Forest. Where she resides in a room, sharing it with one of her woodsman friends, an enigmating, name-changing Namazu, who is currently known as Gyotsono. What Gyotsono wants with Bleis, is to be determined, but one thing is for certain. He has the vacant stare locked down.
